56,667*, which is only INR 690 over the stock model.
Suzuki already retails the Access 125 CBS disc brake
variant that costs INR 59,636*. In comparison, the non-CBS models are priced at
INR 55,977* (drum brake) and INR 58,350* (disc brake). The Access 125 is a
premium family scooter that competes with the Honda Activa 125, Hero Destini
125, TVS Ntorq 125 and the Honda Grazia among others.
The Suzuki Access 125 is the highest selling 125cc
scooter in the country with over 40,000 units sold every month on an average in
2018. The Access 125 measures 1,870 mm in length, 655 mm in width and 1,160 mm
in height, and it has a wheelbase of 1,265 mm and a seat height of 733 mm. Its
kerb weight is 101 kg.
The scooter has a fuel tank capacity of 5.6 litres
and a claimed mileage of 63 km/l, which should offer a range of over 300 km on
a full tank. Powering the Suzuki Access 125 is a 125cc single cylinder
air-cooled engine that develops 8.7 PS of maximum power at 7,000 rpm and 10.2
Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm. The motor is paired with a CVT. Suspension
duties are carried out by telescopic forks up front and a rear mono-shock.
