A 2019 Honda Civic (facelift) that has been fitted
with the Modulo kit has been showcased at the ongoing Bangkok International
Motor Show. The latest version of the Civic has been on sale in Bangkok at an
OTR price range of 874,000 - 1,219,000 baht.
The Modulo kit for the 2019 Honda Civic brings in an
assortment of visual updates that lend the sedan a sportier look. Up front, the
bumper has been updated with a more prominent diffuser, while the side profile
is characterised with bold side skirts and dual-tone machined alloy wheels with
a red lip.
The highlight of the rear is a large trunk lid-spoiler and a chrome
applique on the bumper. The latest iteration of the Civic has been available in
Thailand with five exterior colour options- Lunar Silver Metallic, Modern Steel
Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Brilliant Sporty Blue Metallic, and Platinum
White Pearl. Deliveries of the new model will commence from January 12.
The equipment list of the 2019 Honda Civic includes
a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto,
Honda Sensing Technology, which includes Collision Mitigation Braking System
with forward collision warning, Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure
Warning, Lane Keeping Assist System, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
The Thai-spec 2019 Honda Civic is available with two
engine options - 1.8-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5-litre
turbocharged petrol. The former outputs a maximum power of 141 PS and a peak torque
of 174 Nm, while the latter offers 173 PS and 220 Nm. Both the engine options
are available with a CVT.
