The 2019 Maserati
Quattroporte has been launched in India at a starting price of INR 1.74 crore*.
The refreshed model features a handful of cosmetic updates and additional
features. The sports sedan continues to be available in two versions -
GrandLusso and GranSport.
The 2019 Maserati
Quattroporte features a larger Alfieri-shaped grille and is now available in as
many as 10 exterior paint options, including two new tri-coat options that
comprise the Rosso Potente and the deep dark Blu Nobile. In the side profile,
the performance-focused luxury sedan is available with new 20-inch and 21-inch
alloy wheel options. The interior carries a redesigned gearshift lever with a
more intuitive shift pattern and shorter travel and a new Pieno Fiore leather
upholstery.
The cabin even
features a new MTC+ infotainment system that provides updated graphics and
improved climate control system ergonomics. The customers can choose from two
new high-gloss interior veneers. The cabin comes kitted out with a Harman
Kardon Premium Sound system as standard, while the buyers can even upgrade to a
Bowers & Wilkins Surround Sound system. The standard audio unit features 15
speakers, mid-range drivers and rear-woofers, along with a 1,280-watt
amplifier.
Powering the 2019
Maserati Quattroporte is a 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel motor that has been tuned
to deliver a maximum power of 275 bhp along with a peak torque of 600 Nm. The
engine comes mated to an 8-speed ZF-sourced automatic transmission. The new
model is available with an Active Sound technology that lends a distinctive
sporty touch to the exhaust note and can be even varied at the touch of a
button.
