In the land of fast pickup trucks, the Ford Raptor stands tall among the very best. It’s powered by a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 unit, producing 450 HP and 691 Nm of torque. That’s as much muscle as you had in the original 2002 Porsche Cayenne Turbo.

While you could argue that 450 horses is plenty for a pickup truck, Roush has other ideas, that’s why they now offer a Performance Pac Engine Upgrade System, which adds a max-flow 3-inch exhaust, custom cold air intake kit and an ECU flash. Roush’s package is claimed to boost the engine’s output, though the tuner has not yet announced final numbers, but says it will deliver “increased performance, throttle response and drivability.”

Other mods include the custom Performance Axle-Back exhaust system for a sportier note, 20-inch black wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich 35-inch All-Terrain tires, plus a bunch of aesthetic and utility improvements such as the Chase Rack with optional off-road lighting by Rigid, and a signature Roush graphics package with optional customization finishes.

Inside, there’s a custom gauge cluster, Roush headrest embroidery and a serialized console badge, just to remind the driver that they’re not inside any ordinary Ford F-150 Raptor, if there is such a thing. Pricing for the 2019 Roush Raptor starts at US$ 13,000 over factory MSRP.
