Like them or hate
them, you can’t deny that Liberty Walk makes some of the most easily
recognizable body kits in the industry. They’re adapted to suit a variety of
cars, and their latest creations are two Ferrari 458 Italias.
Both supercars are
fitted with the same parts, the only difference being the materials used in
their construction. The most affordable FRP is priced at US$ 35,960 for markets
outside Japan. The so-called ‘Mix-Type’ comes at US$ 43,520, and for the ‘Dry
Carbon Type’ at a cool US$ 52,080. The body kits consist of new front and rear
bumpers, aprons, diffusers, front hoods and rear wings. Staying true to the
Liberty Walk way of doing things, they also sport the tuner’s signature
ultra-wide fenders.
To go for the exact
same look seen here, the 458 needs to be equipped with other items, such as the
new wheels, decals and adjustable air suspension. The latter comes at an extra US$ 8,900 for overseas markets and should prove extremely useful as, from what we
can see, the lowered 458 probably won’t clear even a wet handkerchief.
Usually, Liberty
Walk leave the engines untouched, and this is the case with the 458’s 4.5-liter
naturally aspirated V8. Of course, there are plenty of other tuners who’ll be
more than happy to oblige, but if you don’t want to mess with the factory
recipe, then you’ll still enjoy 570 PS and 540 Nm of torque.
