Even though by now
we’ve lost count of the body kits for the Lamborghini Aventador we’ve seen so
far, there’s still something very revealing about catching such a modified
exotic in the real world. Take this DMC-tuned Lambo for example. The German
aftermarket specialist unveiled its Molto Veloce body kit for the Aventador
back in 2012, alongside the LP900 power kit, increasing both its road presence
and its performance.
There are several
new carbon fiber bits attached to the exterior of this Aventador, such as the
extensive front lip spoiler, the bumper trims, side skirts, custom rear wing
and new rear diffuser. This particular Molto Veloce, spotted in Cannes, France,
by theDreAmakeR, is equipped with a set of gold-painted five dual-spoke wheels
wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero rubber. It’s actually a cleaner wheel design than the
one DMC unveiled originally for the car.
As for the LP900
power kit, it consists of a reprogrammed ECU, a lightweight titanium exhaust
system said to weigh an incredibly low 3.45 kg, new pumps and lines,
and 12 unique, single intake throttle plates (one for each cylinder) instead of
the stock V12’s overhead throttle valves.
DMC didn’t disclose
official performance figures, but we presume the 900 PS output makes
this Aventador even faster than the mighty SVJ that has to make do with “only”
759 HP.
