The limited edition MV Agusta 800 RR America has been launched in India at an ex-showroom price tag of INR 18.73 lakh (ex-showroom). Contrary to the expectation of a premium price tag over the standard model, the America edition retails for INR 30,000 lower than the Brutale 800 RR. The production of the Brutale 800 RR America edition is limited to just 200 units worldwide. The Indian market would receive five of the 200 units to be ever made.

As reported earlier, the Brutale 800 RR America Edition pays homage to the 1975 S America 750, a motorcycle that was propelled by an in-line four-cylinder engine with dual overhead camshaft, 75 horsepower and air-cooling. The America Edition is set apart from the standard model with its special livery that uses Red, White and Blue – the colours that form the American flag. The flyscreen features the progressive production number. The limited edition motorcycle comes with a certificate of authenticity.

The spoke wheels paint is inspired by the American flag, and it features blue hub, red spokes and white rim. Apart from the three colour paint, the upper part of the fuel tank is adorned with stars, a visual trait that was also seen on the 750 S. Another unique design trait on the motorcycle includes "America Special Edition" decal on the sides of the radiator.

Mechanical specifications include a 798 cc inline three-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 12-valve engine that puts out 140 hp of maximum power at 12,300 rpm and 86 Nm of peak torque at 10,100 rpm. The motor sends the power to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and can propel the Brutale 800 RR to a top speed of 244 km/h. The transmission features MV EAS 2.0 (Electronically Assisted Shift) for both up & down gearshifts.

Hardware on the Brutale 800 RR America Edition includes 43 mm Marzocchi inverted telescopic hydraulic forks and Sachs rear monoshock. Anchoring tasks are performed by 320 mm double floating discs at the front and a 220 mm single steel disc at the rear.
