Skoda’s new Dynamic+ Package for the outgoing
Octavia brings it closer to the RS models in terms of styling. The package is
available for both hatchback and estate body styles, adding a few visual
updates, both inside and out.
The black front lip matches the similarly looking
grille, with the latter being part of the Black Package, alongside the side
mirror caps and smoked Sunset glass. The automaker has also added a black rear
diffuser, while the 5-door model features a black boot lid spoiler.
A set of 17-inch metallic black Trius wheels or
brushed silver and glossy black Hawk rims complete the visual makeover on the
outside. Customers can also specify the larger 18-inch Vega wheels in glossy
black and brushed silver, or the matte black Turini wheels. The Czech car firm has tried to
keep a similar styling inside, too. Thus, the Octavias equipped with the
Dynamic+ Package feature sports seats, a multi-function sports steering wheel
and black roof lining.
The package looks very similar to the Octavia
SportLine, launched earlier this week in the UK. However, unlike that model,
which can be had only with the 1.5-liter TSI 150 PS petrol
engine and 150 PS 2.0-liter TDI diesel, the Dynamic+ is available with most engine
versions, except for the ones powering the full-blown Octavia RS models.
