Volkswagen T-Cross, goes on sale
today in the United Kingdom. The automaker’s offering it in the S, SE, SEL and
R-Line trim levels, as well as the First Edition model, which is limited to 250
units.
Priced from £ 16,995, the
entry-level has 16-inch wheels, automatic headlights, LED taillights and
electrically adjustable and heated side mirrors. The 8-inch touchscreen
infotainment system, sliding rear bench, Front Assist with City Emergency
Braking and Predictive Pedestrian Protection, Lane Assist with Blind Spot, Lane
Keeping System and Hill Start Assist are all standard.
The T-Cross SE adds front fog lamps with cornering
function, black roof rails and 17-inch wheels. Inside, it gets a multi-function
steering wheel and variable boot floor, whereas the tech highlights include the
App Connect, Driver Alert System and Adaptive Cruise Control. Clients will have
to pay at least £ 18,795 for this model.
Available from £ 21,650, the SEL
rides on different 17-inch wheels and introduces the LED headlights, silver
roof rails, front sports seats, ambient lighting package, climate control and
Discover Navigation system. Front and rear parking sensors and carpet mats are
also included.
Finally, the T-Cross R-Line has sporty exterior and
interior styling, 18-inch wheels and the brand’s Active Info Display, for an
MSRP of £ 23,550. Optional extras available for the
SUV include keyless entry, Beats sound system, different alloy wheels and
several styling packs.
The T-Cross is available with the 95 PS and 115 PS 1.0-liter TSI petrol engine,
married to a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic transmission,
depending on the selected unit.
