Chevrolet has brought the all-new 2019 Silverado
1500 to the Middle East and it has introduced two trims that are exclusive to
the region. Unlike the U.S., where the the RST and Trail Boss trims for the 2019 Silverado
are only available for the Crew Cab and Double Cab body versions, in Middle
East markets they will be offered in Regular Can configurations starting this
suammer.
The Middle East’s Silverado
RST and Trail Boss models feature the same upgrades as their U.S. counterparts.
While the RST is a sporty-themed truck, the Trail Boss is enhanced so as to go
off the beaten track courtesy of the Z71 Off-Road package, a 2-inch factory
suspension lift and Autotrack 2-speed transfer case.
In the Middle East, the 2019 Silverado 1500 will
offer five engine and transmission choices across the range, including a
2.7-liter turbo-four as well 5.3-liter and 6.2-liter V8s with Dynamic Fuel
Management and start/stop technology for improved fuel economy, and a new
Hydra-Matic 10-speed automatic transmission for the 6.2.
The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado is now available to
order with a starting price of AED 106,800 (US$ 29,100)
in the United Arab Emirates for the 2WD Work Truck.
