Jeep is kicking off sales of its all-new 2020 Gladiator with a fully-loaded Gladiator Launch Edition model. Limited to 4,190 vehicles in the United States, the 2020 Gladiator Launch Edition will only be available to preorder on Jeep 4×4 day, April 4, on Jeep.com through a dedicated Gladiator Concierge. The limited-edition will feature unique wheels and interior accents, as well as a “One of 4,190” forged aluminum tailgate badge. The number is a tribute to Toledo, Ohio, and its 419 area code – and both the Wrangler and the Gladiator are built there.

Arriving in dealerships this spring alongside regular Gladiator models, the Launch Edition brings several upgrades over the standard truck. They include 17-inch Mid Gloss Black aluminum wheels, 33-inch Falken Wildpeak All-Terrain tires, forged aluminum tailgate badge, black leather seats with red stitching, as well as a wrapped instrument panel mid-bolster painted in Monaco silver.

The Gladiator Launch Edition is available in five exterior colors: Black, Bright White, Billet Silver Metallic, Firecracker Red and Granite Crystal Metallic. Based on the range-topping Rubicon trim, the Launch Edition offers a generous amount of standard features such as a body-color hard top, fender flares, LED headlights and taillights, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, 9-speaker Alpine premium sound system, keyless entry, spray-in bed liner, Trailer Tow, and Trail Rail Cargo Management System.

The list of standard safety features is also comprehensive. The 2020 Gladiator Launch Edition is equipped with a Forward Facing TrailCam camera, Blind-spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Path detection, ParkSense rear park assist system, Advanced Brake Assist, Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning Plus, and Adaptive Cruise Control.

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator Launch Edition is powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 rated at 285 hp and 352 Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a standard six-speed manual or an optional eight-speed automatic. Priced at US$ 60,815 (excluding destination), the Launch Edition will be the most expensive Gladiator of them all.

Customers who will order one of the 4,190 Launch Edition pickups will be eligible to enter the “Find Your Freedom” contest, where they will have the opportunity to win one-year’s salary of US$ 100,000. To participate, they will need to submit their personal “Gladiator” video to be judged by the Jeep brand along with wounded warrior and U.S. Army veteran Noah Galloway, who will choose the winner.
