Bentley is looking to sell the new Bentayga V8
Design Series to customers that demand the very best out of their luxury SUVs. Based on the Bentayga V8, this
special edition model boasts new Mulliner features such as its Palladium Grey
Paragon wheels and Self Leveling Wheel badges. Inside, it sports a color-themed
cabin, with a carbon fiber weave and Duotone color palette available for the first
time.
Standard on the V8 Design Series is the Bentayga
Blackline specification, which adds a body-colored lower front bumper apron and
twin gloss black tailpipes. The British SUV also comes with Design Series
badging on the lower front doors, discreetly pointing to its special edition
credentials.
The new Mulliner Paragon wheels come in a
seven-spoke design and feature a dark metallic Palladium Grey finish with
polished accents. Then there’s the previously-mentioned Mulliner Self Leveling
Wheel badge, which helps the ‘B’ maintain a vertical orientation as the wheels
rotate.
The interior of the Bentayga V8 Design Series has a
Duotone palette with four colorful themes in Pillar Box Red, Orange, Mulliner
White and Klein Blue, to go with the Beluga main hide. There’s also a new
contrast accent design line color split, placing a vivid high contrast color on
the center console and lower dashboard.
Other special touches include the Duotone seat
center perforations (front and rear), all-new carbon fiber weave (dashboard and
doors), Piano Black finish for the console and center fascia, Duotone
embroidery on the seatbacks, illuminated treadplates, Front Seat Comfort spec,
drilled alloy sports pedals and footrest, deep pile floor mats and an overall
dark tonal interior design theme. Last but not least, there’s a
diamond-jeweled Breitling clock resting on top of the central air vents, with a
light mother of pearl face.
Powering the Bentayga V8 Design Series is a
4.0-liter twin turbocharged V8 petrol unit, producing 542 HP and 770 Nm of torque. In a straight line, the SUV can max out at 290 km/h and rocket from zero to 96 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, with
0-100 km/h taking 4.5 seconds.
