The Exeed E-IUV is a design concept showcased at
this year’s Shanghai Auto Show, featuring a modern exterior with an
“EV-specific” look and an innovative cabin that maximized passenger space,
despite the vehicle’s overall compact size.
One of the first things you might notice about the
E-IUV is its asymmetrical door opening system, providing “a welcoming grand
entrance experience before enveloping the passengers into a protective and
serene cocoon-like environment.”
Then there’s the privacy class, that also serves as
an interactive touch display, while other features include the illuminated 3D
logo on the front fascia, the simple, yet bold rear end design, side cameras
and more.
Also, the air intake and rear optical units, as well
as the active blade integrated into the rear of the car share a similar design,
while aerodynamic elements like the flow-wing hood, aero-smart wheels, flat
floor and rear deflectors channel air all around the car.
The interior of the E-IUV boasts premium materials
and high levels of connectivity. As you can see, the cabin isn’t loaded with
screens, as you get just two up front – a small one embedded in the steering
wheel and a large horizontal one on top of the asymmetrical dashboard (oriented
towards the driver).
In terms of tech, there’s an autonomous driving
system and a cutting-edge on board HMI system with Lion OS, allowing the rear
passenger to relax and enjoy the vehicle’s infotainment features.
