The Hyundai Venue was unveiled earlier this month
and is slated to enter the market on 21 May. Just days after its official
unveiling, IAB's digital artist Shoeb Kalania has created a rendering to show
how a sporty 'N Line' variant of this new SUV may look like.
Recently, it has come to light that like the latest
Sonata, even the Hyundai Venue will receive the N Line treatment. The
announcement came from Brian Smith, Chief Operating Officer, North America, who
reportedly confirmed that a souped-up version of the Venue was in the works.
The Hyundai Venue N Line would feature sportier
bumpers, tweaked grille, unique alloy wheels and maybe even an exclusive colour
scheme. Hyundai may offer the Venue N Line exclusively with the 1.0-litre
turbo-petrol engine option that outputs a maximum power of 120 PS and a peak
torque of 175 Nm. Transmission options should include 7-speed dual-clutch
automatic and 6-speed manual.
The regular Hyundai Venue will be available with
1.2-litre Kappa naturally-aspirated petrol, and 1.4-litre CRDI turbocharged
diesel motors as well. The former develops 83 PS and 90 Nm, while the latter
produces 90 PS and 224 Nm.
The Hyundai Venue is equipped with 33 Blue Link
connected car features, of which 10 are specific to India. The equipment list
of the new model includes projector headlamps with LED DRLs, LED tail lamps,
projector fog lamps, electric sunroof, wireless charger, Arkamys sound driver,
cornering lights and a cooled glovebox as well. The safety suite comprises ABS
with EBD, 6 airbags, ESC with VSM, HAC, BA and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
