Introduced at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, Dacia’s
new Techroad top-of-the-line models are now up for grabs in the United Kingdom,
with deliveries kicking off this month. Limited to the Sandero Stepway,
Logan MCV Stepway and Duster, they start from £ 11,660,
£ 13,160 and £ 16,360.
Customers can choose between one of the two
exclusive exterior colors called Fusion Red and Highland Grey. Other visual
upgrades, such as the side decals with grey and red motif, side mirror caps
with red detailing, red center cap on the two-tone 16-inch Flex Expression
wheels for the Stepway cars and 17-inch diamond-cut alloys for the Duster and
‘Techroad’ badging, will set them apart from lesser versions.
In the cabin, the Techroad Sandero Stepway, Logan
MCV Stepway and Duster feature unique upholstery with red and grey detailing
and stitching on the seats, and the ‘Stepway’ and ‘Duster’ logos embroidered
into the fabric. More red detailing can be seen throughout the interior,
including on the door handles, gear lever, air vents and floor mats.
The two Stepway models get a Media Nav Evolution
infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, DAB Radio, Bluetooth
connectivity, air conditioning, soft-feel steering wheel, Cruise Control with
Speed Limiter and rear parking sensors as standard.
The Duster Techroad, on the other hand, features the
Media Nav Evolution system with smartphone connectivity, multi-view camera,
climate control, hands-free key card, Blind Spot Detection and rear parking
sensors.
Powering the Sandero Stepway and Logan MCV Stepway
Techroad editions is the TCe 90 petrol engine, while the Logan can be had with
the Blue dCi 95 diesel unit as well. The Duster comes with the TCe 130, TCe 150
and Blue dCi 115, with front-wheel drive, although the diesel can be specced
with all-wheel drive.
