Suzuki has introduced
the 2019 GSX-S150 naked roadster in Indonesia. Most of the updates that were
seen on the GSX-R150 are seen on the GSX-S150, including Keyless Ignition
System (optional), new LCD speedometer backlight, hazard lamp and easy start
system.
ABS is still not available on the Suzuki GSX-S150,
not even as an option. Another feature available on the fully-faired model but
not on the naked roadster is a golden front brake calliper. There are two
configurations on sale, as seen in the table below:

The GSX-S150 has the same mechanical and hardware
specifications as the GSX-R150. It is powered by a 147.3 cc single-cylinder,
water-cooled, 4-valve, DOHC engine with fuel injection tech. This motor
delivers 18.9 hp (14.1 kW) of power at 10,500 rpm and 14 Nm of torque at 9,000
rpm. Single, petal-type discs on the front and the rear wheel deliver the
stopping power. A monoshock at the back and conventional telescopic forks at
the front perform the shock absorption tasks.
The styling of the GSX-S150, sans the fairing
design, is nearly identical to the GSX-R150. The naked roadster uses tank
shrouds to get a muscular look. The GSX-S150 uses a flat, single-piece
handlebar instead of clip-on units on the fully-faired model for upright and
city-friendly ergonomics. Apart from that, all design details are identical on
both motorcycles.
The 150 cc GSX duo rides on cast alloy wheels that
are wrapped in 90 / 80-17 section front, and 130 / 70-17 profile rear tyres.
The fuel tank capacity is identical too, and both motorcycles can carry up to
11-litres of petrol. The fully faired model, however, tips the weighing scale
at 131 kg (dry), while the naked roadster is a kilogram lighter at 130 kg
(dry).
