You probably won’t be blown away by the changes made
to the Acura RDX for the 2020 model year, as the Japanese crossover adds a new
color to the palette, called Platinum White, and not much else.
The range is comprised of eight different grades,
which start with the front-wheel drive RDX and its US$ 38,595 MSRP, followed by
the Technology Package, A-Spec and Advance Package, from US$ 41,795, US$ 44,795 and US$ 46,695, respectively.
The most affordable all-wheel drive model costs at
least US$ 40,595, with customers needing to pay at least US$ 48,695 when choosing the
top-of-the-line grade. The AWD Technology Package and A-Spec start from US$ 43,795
and US$ 46,795, respectively. All prices include the US$ 995 destination and handling
charge.
The 272 hp and 380 Nm of torque 2.0-liter turbocharged engine has been carried over and is still
coupled to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The FWD versions of the 2020 RDX
have an EPA-estimated mileage rating of 22/28/24 mpg (10.7/8.4/9.8 l/100 km /
26.4/33.6/28.8 mpg UK) in city/highway/combined, and the AWD models return
21/27/23 mpg (11.2/8.7/10.2 l/100 km / 25.2/32.4/27.6 mpg UK).
Acura’s 2020 RDX continues to be offered with a
standard panoramic moonroof, LED headlights, sport seats and the AcuraWatch
safety gear. The SUV is also available with the True Touchpad Interface,
710-watt, 16-channel ELS Studio 3D premium audio system with roof-mounted
speakers and more.
