Shortly after it was revealed that Hyundai could produce an N Line version of the Venue, IAB has rendered what such a model could look like. Ever since Hyundai launched its dedicated N performance brand, all anyone has been able to talk about is which Hyundai models will receive the N treatment. The Venue may be the most recent addition to the South Korean automaker’s family, but not even it can escape talk about a more performance-oriented variation.

During the recent New York Auto Show, Hyundai North America chief executive Brian Smith was asked about a Venue N and Venue N Line being in the pipeline. He indicated that both are a possibility. Indian Autos Blog’s rendering depicts a Venue N Line with a number of small visual alterations to make it look a little sportier. The front fascia, for example, incorporates a set of bespoke black air intakes and also includes a re-shaped lower grille. The front grille has also been blacked out and there are a set of black wheels. Completing the visual modifications is a black roof and black roof rails.

It appears most likely that Hyundai will launch a Venue N Line rather than a full-blown N version. This means the tiny crossover is unlikely to receive the powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged engine found in the current i30 N, i30 N Sportback, and Veloster N anytime soon.
