Revamped for 2019, the Subaru Levorg now comes
equipped with a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine and is set to
arrive in UK dealerships on July 1st, with six available colors to choose from.
The price is £ 30,995 OTR (US$ 40,000).
The front fascia has been updated to feature a new
bumper, a sharper front grille and new headlight and fog light designs, while
the newly designed 18-inch alloys complete the visual enhancements and are
joined by LED steering responsive headlights and fog lights.
Inside this all-wheel driven family car there are
discreet upgrades to its instrument panel, door trim and switches, while the
driver’s seat gains power adjustable lumbar support. At the same time, the new
40/20/40 split folding rear seat configuration improves boot space usability
and comes in handy when you have long items to load and two passengers to
accommodate in the rear.
When it comes to infotainment, the Levorg offers a
7-inch multi-function color touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android
Auto, DAB radio, Bluetooth connectivity and satellite navigation. As for its active safety
features, the Levorg’s EyeSight driver assistance system comes with adaptive
cruise control, pre-collision braking and lane departure warning. Meanwhile, existing
technologies such as blind spot monitoring and the reversing camera are now
joined by a front view camera and a smart rear-view mirror.
Right now, the Subaru Levorg needs all the help it
can get as far as the European car market is concerned, seen as how sales
haven’t really been very good through the first three months of 2019, as per
Carsalesbase.
