Husqvarna has seen some success with the Vitpilen and Svartpilen 401, the Svartpilen 701 and the Vitpilen 701 Aero Concept. Addition to the stable is the 2019 Svartpilen 701 Style, which is now in selected Husqvarna dealers worldwide.

As a limited edition model, the Svartpilen 701 Style takes cues from motorcycle flat track racers, rolling on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels. Bar-end mirrors are fitted for that cafe racer look, along with CNC machined aluminium footpegs and aluminium badging.

The Svartpilen 701 Style is powered by a 692.7 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled mill, producing 75 hp and 72 Nm of torque. Mated to a six-speed gearbox, power gets to the ground via chain final drive and PASC slipper clutch that eliminates rear wheel hop under heavy engine braking.

Braking is done by Brembo, with a four-piston radial-mounted calliper in front and single-piston calliper in the rear. Suspension uses a 43 mm diameter adjustable WP upside-down front fork and WP absorber at the back.

Fuelling for the Svartpilen 701 Style is with ride-by-wire and Keihen EFI, with fuel carried in a 12-litre tank. LED lighting is used throughout, and weight is claimed to be 158.5 kg without fuel and seat height is set at 835 mm.
