The Volvo V60 Cross Country has officially landed on
American shores. The jacked-up version of the stylish premium estate will be
sold locally in a single trim dubbed Adventure, which starts at US$ 46,095.
While some may be disappointed that only a single
trim level will be available, they’ll be pleased to know that standard
equipment includes a 9-inch vertical touchscreen with navigation, a digital
gauge cluster, power front seats, keyless entry, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone
automatic climate control, automated emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring
and lane-keeping assist.
Customers can choose between a number of different
interior finishes, including the option of City Weave textile plaid seats
accented with beige leather. Other interior finishes offered include beige,
tan, and black leather. Should buyers want something even plusher, the V60
Cross Country can be equipped with the US$ 2,200 Luxury package which includes
perks like massage seats and Nappa leather.
The Cross Country Pro package is the most
comprehensive upgrade available and comes with wood interior trim, larger
wheels, four-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped dashboard with
contrast stitching, memory functions for the passenger seats, ambient interior
light, and an exterior kit with stainless steel skid plates and new side
skirts. An ‘Advanced’ package priced at US$ 2,500 adds a head-up display, LED fog
lights, 360-degree camera, and LED headlights with headlight washers.
Powering the Volvo V60 Cross Country is Volvo’s T5
AWD powertrain, with a turbocharged inline-four delivering 250 hp through an
advanced all-wheel drive system.
