BMW has introduced an assortment of M Performance
Parts for the new 3-Series Touring and 8-Series Gran Coupe. Starting with the latter, the
four-door luxury coupe can be equipped with a number of carbon fiber components
including a grille, mirror caps and fender vents. Customers can also order a
set of 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels with either a Frozen Gold or Night Gold
finish.
The sporty styling continues in the cabin, where
ther’s an Alcantara-wrapped M Performance steering wheel with optional carbon
fiber accents, stainless steel pedals, M Performance floor mats and LED door
projectors with interchangeable slides.
Mechanical changes are limited to a sport braking
system with larger vented and perforated discs as well as four-piston aluminum
calipers up front.
The parts for the 3-Series Touring are similar, as
customers can order carbon fiber mirror caps and a carbon fiber or gloss black
rear diffuser. Other options include a rear spoiler, sporty side skirts and an
“Iconic Glow” grille that lights up. Last, the company will
offer 18-inch wheels and improved brakes.
Interior changes echo that of the 8-Series Gran
Coupe and include an M Performance steering wheel, along with an M Performance
gear selector, M Performance floor mats and stainless steel pedals.
Finally, BMW is now offering a handful of components
for the facelifted X1. Highlights include a gloss black grille, carbon fiber
mirror caps and side sill wraps. Customers can also order an M Performance
steering wheel and 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels.
