This is the BMW Z4 sDrive30i, which is on display at the ongoing BMW M Track Day event in Sepang. The recommended pricing for the car has also been revealed, and it’s RM 456,800 on-the-road without insurance, which follows the estimated pricing for the car mentioned earlier, when the range-topping M40i variant in LHD form was showcased.

The sDrive30i is equipped with a 2.0 litre turbocharged four-cylinder delivering 255 hp and 400 Nm from 1,550 to 4,400 rpm. Paired with an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission, which is standard issue across the Z4 range, the variant does the 0-100 km/h run in 5.4 seconds and gets to a maximum speed of 250 km/h. The car comes equipped with a M Sport Suspension and Variable Sport Steering as standard, and other regulation items include wireless phone charging, digital key and Intelligent Parking Assistant with a Reversing Assistant feature.

The Z4 will be available in four exterior colours, namely San Francisco Red, Misano Blue, Black Sapphire and Alpine White, and these are matched with interior options of black décor with black stitching, Magma Red with black stitching or Cognac with black stitching, the latter seen in the photo set. The show car wasn’t the only sDrive30i at the event – an Alpine White example with a black interior was spotted in the car park.

Although the car still hasn’t been officially launched, the order books have been open for the car since April, with interested parties needing to fork out RM 5,000 to place a booking.
