Cadillac has
launched the online configurator for its new three-row crossover, the XT6. The
Cadillac XT6 was unveiled earlier this year at the Detroit Auto and slots
between the XT5 and Escalade in the car manufacturer’s line-up.
Log on to the
configuration tool and you’ll initially be able to select your desired color.
All paint options, excluding the standard Radiant Silver Metallic, demand a
price premium of US$ 625 or US$ 1225, as with the Red Horizon Tintcoat we selected. As
for the interior, there are four different color options available.
A series of
packages can be optioned for the new XT6. These include the US$ 4,900 Premium
Package which includes items such as a microfiber sueded headliner, front and
rear premium carpeted floor mats, chassis damping control, performance
suspension, and more. There is also the US$ 2,350 Enhanced Visibility and
Technology Package, the US$ 1,300 Driver Assist Package, the Floor Liner Package, the US$ 280 Interior Protection Package, and the US$ 750 Comfort
And Air Quality Package.
There are five
different wheel options available, the most expensive of which are the 20-inch
Midnight Grey alloys which add US$ 2,295 to the total price. Some of the key
interior extras include front bucket seats, a Bose Performance Series
14-speaker audio system, rear seat infotainment system, Head-Up Display, and
sport pedal covers.
The Cadillac XT6 is
sold exclusively with a 3.6-liter V6 engine producing 310 hp and 373
Nm of torque. Power is sent through a nine-speed automatic transmission to the
front wheels but all-wheel drive is available on select models. Prices for the
XT6 start at US$ 53,690.
