Ford Mustang would be on every major tuner’s radar. Aftermarket
upgrades include everything from more power to crazy body kits and complete
interior makeovers, and cover each and every version of the car, including the
Bullitt.
Designed to pay
homage to the 1968 movie starring Steve McQueen, the Mustang Bullitt builds on
the V8-powered GT, while featuring a tad more muscle and several visual
enhancements. The first part has been taken to the next level by O.CT, who have
managed to obtain a massive 660 PS and 700 Nm of
torque by adding a supercharger kit and modifying the ECU.
Compared to the
stock muscle car, we’re looking at an extra 200 PS and 171 Nm of torque. In terms of power, that’s Lamborghini Huracan Evo
territory, whose 5.2-liter, naturally aspirated V10 engine is actually 20 PS and 100 Nm of torque less powerful than what you get
with this tuned Mustang.
In terms of
performance, we have no idea how quick it is, because the tuner has chosen to
keep the 0-100 km/h acceleration number a secret. We do know that
the stock Euro-spec model needs 4.6 seconds, and that this Bullitt doesn’t have
a speed limiter. O.CT’s upgrades for the Mustang Bullitt end with the stainless
steel exhaust system, which is an optional extra – although one you’ll want to
consider given that it’s said to offer an “extreme sound”.
