Two dual-tone units of the Kia Seltos have been snapped in Bangalore, showing two different colour combinations for the first time. Facebook group Kia Seltos Club India member Ram Dantuluri has spotted these SUVs. The Kia Seltos will apparently be offered in no less than two dual-tone schemes. One comprises white body and orange ORVMs, roof and shark-fin antenna. The other scheme includes red body and black ORVMs, roof and shark-fin antenna. White body with black ORVMs, roof and shark-fin antenna is a possible third option.

Kia has confirmed that single-tone colour choices for the Seltos in India will be Intense Red, Punchy Orange, Clear White, Glacier White Pearl, Steel Silver, Gravity Gray, Aurora Black Pearl and Intelligency Blue. Similarly, the interior could also be offered in single-tone and dual-tone choices, with the former being pure black. The Kia Seltos is 4,315 mm long, 1,800 mm wide and 1,620 mm tall. It has a 2,610 mm wheelbase and a 190 mm ground clearance. It offers a boot space of 433 litres. Under the hood, there’ll be either a 1.5-litre Smartstream petrol engine (115 PS/144 Nm), a 1.4-litre T-GDI petrol engine (140 PS/242 Nm) or a 1.5L CRDi diesel engine (115 PS/250 Nm).


A 6-speed manual transmission will be standard. As an option, customers will be able to go for a CVT (with 1.5L petrol engine)/7-speed DCT (with 1.4L petrol engine)/6-speed torque converter (with 1.5L diesel engine). Key features of the Indian-spec Kia Seltos include full LED headlights and tail lights, LED DRLs and rear lamps, 3D multi-layer indicators, LED fog lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch MID, 8-inch head-up display, 360-degree camera, front parking sensors and six airbags.

The Kia Seltos will go up for pre-orders in July and be launched in August. Expect prices to start at around INR 11 lakh (ex-showroom).
