A KTM RC200 with Red Bull KTM MotoGP team 2019 was
showcased at the Jakarta Fair event in Indonesia. It was customised with the KTM
MotoGP bike-inspired livery. The distinctive livery brings the Red Bull logo and branding, along
with KTM and Motorex decals, to the KTM RC 200. The Red Bull logo can be seen
on the visor and the fairing, while the brand tag is present on the front
fender and the fairing.
The 200 cc motorcycle gets an Akrapovic decal but
continues to use stock, underbelly exhaust system from the factory. The MotoGP
team-inspired livery further enhances the sporty visuals of the Austrian bike.
The new graphics match the orange shade on the frame and the alloy wheels. KTM has announced no plans to
offer the livery on a mass scale. However, the brand provides sticker sets for
its products to enhance the visuals.
The mechanical specifications of the MotoGP livery
quipped KTM RC200 are no different from the regular model. The motorcycle uses
the familiar 199.5cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with fuel injection
tech that churns out 25 PS of maximum power at 10,000 rpm and 19.2 Nm of
maximum torque at 8,000 revs. The motor sends power to the back wheel via a
six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle sheds speed using a 280 mm and a 230 mm
single disc at the front and back respectively. In India, the bike is sold with
a single-channel ABS as standard.
Other premium hardware on the KTM RC200 include
twin-pod projector headlight, LED tail lamp, LED blinkers, upside-down
telescopic forks at the front, adjustable monoshock suspension at the back and
a fully-digital instrument console.
