ABT Sportsline GmbH has announced an upgrade pack
for the Lamborghini Urus super SUV, and as usual, it gets the customary
performance upgrades. Let’s not forget, in stock tune, the Urus’ 4.0 litre
biturbo V8 engine makes 650 PS and 850 Nm of torque, resulting in a 0-100 km/h
sprint time of 3.6 seconds.
With ABT Engine Control (AEC) installed, the output
is raised by 60 PS and 60 Nm for a grand total of 710 PS and 910 Nm. Thanks to
the gains, the ABT-optimised Urus does the century sprint in 3.4 seconds,
making it quicker than a number of performance sedans, coupes, or even sports
cars out there. There’s no word on top speed, but the standard Urus
already maxes out at 305 km/h.
ABT Sportsline offers completely warranty
coverage and perfect tuning for your peace of mind. According to the company,
each performance upgrade is tailor-made for each vehicle type and meticulously
tested. This includes gathering data via a state-of-the-art, reference-class
dynamometer.
Meanwhile, sources have revealed that Lamborghini is
currently in the midst of preparing a higher-performance Urus, dubbed the Urus
Performante. It recently unveiled the Urus ST-X Concept, which is a track-ready
specimen that is fully equipped with FIA-approved safety features, such as an
integrated steel roll, fire suppression system and FT3 fuel tank.
