Morgan is set to unleash its new Plus Six model onto
the Goodwood Hillclimb event next week. The Plus Six will perform two
high-speed runs, thrilling the crowd with its BMW-sourced 3.0-liter turbo six
that’s good for 335 HP and 500 Nm of torque. With the aid of an
eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, the Plus Six is able to get from zero to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and max out at 267 km/h.
That speed is not due to sheer power alone, but also
the fact that it weighs just 1,075 kg – less than a Ford Fiesta
supermini.

of the automobile in Britain at the nation’s largest, and best loved automotive
event. The Festival of Speed has become a national institution over the last
quarter of a century, and we are delighted to have our newest, and most
exciting sportscar going up the famed Goodwood hill,” said the company’s head
of marketing, Toby Blythe.

incredibly significant event in the 110th year of Morgan’s wonderful history,
and there is no greater place to present the car than the Goodwood Festival of
Speed.”
If you happen to be at the Festival of Speed this
year, you will find Morgan’s stand opposite the supercar paddock and hill climb
start line. On display there will be another example of the Plus Six along with
the all-new Morgan CX platform that will underpin their next-gen sports car.
