Revolt Intellicorp has unveiled its first product, the RV400 AI enabled motorcycle that will reach the Indian market next month. The company also announced that it will commence the pre-bookings from 25 June through its official website and exclusive online partner, Amazon India. The prices will be announced next month at the launch event, while the deliveries would commence soon after. Potential buyers can express interest in the product via a form on the company’s website.

The Revolt RV400 will be available in two colour options. First will be a dual-tone finish of red and black, while the second will only feature black paint. The fascia features a projector style headlight with LED DRLs and Revolt branding with a pair of LED blinkers on either side. The body coloured headlight mask and front fender add a premium touch to the package.

The fairing gets a 3D Revolt branding and a logo on the sides, while an RV400 decal occupies the bottom space. The fairing also gets a fin-style design to pass cooling air to the motor. The removable battery pack sits in the spot where conventional, internal combustion powered motorcycles store their fuel.

The single-piece saddle looks large enough to accommodate two adults comfortably. The pillion grab rail gets the same colour as the sub-frame. The design of the grab rail flows with the upward sweeping design of the rear of the motorcycle. At the back is a split-style LED tail lamp, LED blinkers, a number plate illuminator and a reflector. Apart from full LED lighting, the premium hardware on the RV400 includes a monoshock suspension at the back and upside-down telescopic forks at the front, disc brake on both wheels and a digital display.

The electric motor can propel the RV400 to a top speed of 85 km/h. The batteries are rated to last 156 km before you have to recharge or swap them. You can also order a fully-charged battery at your home and exchange it for an empty pack. The motorcycle can be controlled via a smartphone app that gives access to various functions. The smartphone app connects to the ECU via Bluetooth to start the motor. A slider at the bottom of the home screen on the smartphone app can be used to start the RV400.

The app can monitor the battery percentage and range, riding mode engaged (Eco, City or Sport), locate the motorcycle, access trip history, control the Geo-Fence feature, discover battery swap locations and order a battery at your home. The app can also be used to select from four artificial exhaust sounds available – Revolt, Roar, Rage and Rebel. Owners can download more artificial exhaust notes for their motorcycle.
