Some 25 years ago, Ducati stood the superbike world
upside down with the Massimo Tamburini designed 916. 25 years later, Ducati
will unveil the 2019 Ducati Panigale V4 25th Anniversary 916 limited edition at
Pebble Beach, California this weekend.
To be produced in a limited run of only 500 units
worldwide, the Panigale V4 25th Anniversary 916 will be unveiled by Ducati’s
most successful rider, Carl Fogarty. Fogarty garnered a total of four World
Superbike Championships for Ducati in 1994, 1995, 1998 and 1999.
In addition to the unveiling of the Panigale V4 25th
Anniversary 916, Ducati will be paying tribute to the “Motorcycle of the 20th
Century” with Aruba.it Racing Ducati team bikes ridden by Alvaro Bautista and
Chaz Davies will take to track in livery inspired by the special edition.
