The automotive exhibition GIIAS 2019 was utilized by
PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia (IAMI) to introduce a facelift model from Isuzu
mu-X. This car will be a strong challenger in the SUV segment. Now, Isuzu mu-X is present in
three variants, namely the I series, the S series and the Z series. The
position of the S series and Z series replaces the previous type, Isuzu Mu-X
Royale and Isuzu Mu-X Premiere. While for the I series, the variants are really
new.
At the start of its debut, the Isuzu Mu-X I-Series
immediately tempted consumers of fleet. PT Bumi Jasa Utama directly bought 70
units for use in the Perhutani region. The Isuzu Mu-X I-Series gets
refreshed starting from the front fascia design that looks thicker and combined
with a chromium grille. The main lights use a projector Bi-beam LED combined
with LED DRL.
This car has been equipped with smart-key (passive
entry and start system) and start-stop button. The interior feels elegant
thanks to the soft pad surface on the dashboard, combined with black piano
ornaments, leather door trim pad, and ambient light room trim .
The mechanical heart sector still relies on the
Isuzu 4JK1-TC Turbo Diesel engine, 2.5L with Direct Fuel Common Rail
technology. The machine is capable of spraying power 134 hp with 320 Nm of
torque. Questioning the price, the Isuzu mu-X I-Series is priced at IDR 449
million. Isuzu gave a discount of IDR 10 million during this international
exhibition.
