The 2019 facelift
of the Toyota Yaris L mini-hatchback has leaked online via official photos
required by the China Patent Office. The car, which will retail on the domestic
market, sports new headlights, radiator grille and bumpers.
The technical
specifications stay the same: the car still ships with a choice between a
1.3-liter engine (99 hp) and its 1.5-liter counterpart (107 hp). Transmission choices include manual and CVT, and the model comes
front-driven in both versions.
The options list is
quite extensive for a vehicle of this class and incorporates safety airbags
(from 2 to 7 pcs), an anti-lock brake system, an engine start-and-go button, a
car stereo, an air conditioner, a roll stabilization system, a multimedia
center and 15-inch wheels.
The launch is
scheduled for the coming autumn.
