The Dacia Dokker is Renault’s idea of a
budget-friendly leisure activity vehicle that can also double as a panel van.
Since 2012, it’s been on sale in Romania and other European markets, as well as
in North Africa and many other territories.
If you’re the type of person who needs something
like the Dokker in their life, whether it wears a Renault or a Dacia badge, you
might want to wait for the new model to arrive, which should happen sometime
next year seen as how prototypes have already begun public testing.
At first, the sheer intricacy of the camouflage
might throw some people off; however, look close and you’ll notice a great
number of things that are different on this prototype compared to the current
model. Let’s start with the front end, where the Dokker is set to receive a
new bumper with differently-positioned fog lights. Also new is the hood and, if
we had to bet, we’d say that the headlights and grille will also feature a
different design, although we can’t really see past the tape.
Moving on to the side, we notice larger side mirrors
as well as a different door handle for the sliding rear door (horizontal
instead of vertical), similar to the Renault Kangoo. The new Dokker will likely
feature a range of gasoline and diesel engines, while an LPG (gas) model is
also possible.
