ABT Sportsline has unveiled a tuned Audi SQ5 TDI, with extra oomph and a discreet makeover. The diesel-powered version of the premium-compact SUV uses ABT’s engine control unit. This has increased output from the stock item’s 347 PS and 700 Nm of torque, to 390 PS and 760 Nm.

Naught to 100 km/h has been improved by 0.2 seconds, to 4.9, and since the upgrade is modest, the eight-speed auto ‘box, which sends power to the Quattro permanent all-wheel drive, didn’t need to be reinforced.

Visually, the SQ5 TDI sports new front and rear skirts, dynamic door strip attachments and carbon tailpipes. The wide body version adds fender extensions and can be further specced with a rear wing. The stock vehicle rides on standard 20- and optional 21-inch wheels, but ABT has added a 22-inch set, as well as coilover suspension that brings the body closer to the ground. The ride can, however, be improved with the 20- or 21-inch rims, available with different patterns.

Upon ingress or egress, users will see the tuner’s logo being projected to the asphalt, thanks to the integrated entrance lights. Other upgrades made inside include a special stop/start button and shift knob cover. The tuning company didn’t say anything about pricing, so if you want to find out how much it costs to make your SQ5 TDI look like this, then you’ll have to contact them directly.
