Curtiss Motorcycles has created a new electric
motorcycle in the form of the Hades, which offers 217 hp and has been created
to provide ”the ultimate expression of two-wheeled minimalism.” The Hades
Electric bike is equipped with a 16.8-kWh battery housed in the underslung
bullet-shaped cylinder.
The Hades runs at 399 volts and is expected to make 217
hp and 200 Nm of torque almost an instant when required.
The Hades electric motorcycle
will be available to purchase priced at US$ 75,000 sometime during 2020. Curtis is
also approaching interested parties to purchase stock on WeFunder to help push
development forward and move the Hades electric motorcycle from concept into
production.
