Yamaha and GK Dynamics Corporation collaborated to
create a special commemorative version of YZF-R6 20th Anniversary Edition.
In 1999, the YZF-R6 sportbike was first introduced
by Yamaha. Until now, this model has reached 20 years old. Therefore, Yamaha
and its internal workshop, GK Dynamics, designed and launched the YZF-R6 20th
Anniversary Edition version to honor this precious milestone.
As a commemorative version, Yamaha's YZF-R6 20th
Anniversary Edition design also has a design trend from the same 1999 version.
The design is simple but full of highlights and charisma, the perfect
combination of passion and speed is shown through the bottom of the bike.
The power of R6 20th Anniversary
has no change in specifications compared to other 2016 R6s. The car uses 599cc
engine, 4 cylinders for maximum capacity of 123.7 horsepower at 14,500 rpm and
maximum torque of 65.7 Nm at 10,500 rpm. Total weight 190 kg.
It is a pity that customers will not have the
opportunity to own this commemorative version because Yamaha YZF-R6 20th
Anniversary Edition is produced exactly one and displayed at the Sportsland
Sugo event in Japan.
