Wolf Racing has just unveiled its modified Ford
Mustang, dubbed the ‘One of 7’. The car started out life as a standard Euro-spec Mustang GT, meaning
it features a naturally-aspirated 5.0-liter V8. In order to improve it, Wolf Racing
fitted the powertrain with an Edelbrock supercharger, resulting in an output of
735 hp and 880 Nm of torque. The conversion is compatible with both
the six-speed manual or ten-speed automatic transmission and, in both cases, 0-100 km/h comes in 4.0 seconds flat.
Fortunately, the tuner didn’t call it at a day after
grafting a large supercharger onto the Mustang’s V8. Instead, the company has
also installed a new limited-slip differential as well as a set of adjustable
coilover suspension which drops the ride height by 1.18-inches (30 mm) and
promises to improve handling.
Other modifications include 21-inch rims with
Michelin Pilot Sport tires, a carbon fiber lip spoiler and a distinctive
graphics package, as well as sports seats, a sports steering wheel, and ‘One of
7’ badging in the cabin.
Those interested in buying one of Wolf Racing’s
Mustangs had better get their finances in order, because the cars aren’t cheap,
priced at a cool € 94,440 (US$ 106,197). While that’s definitely steep, with that
amount of power, plus all the extra parts, we can imagine they won’t have that
much trouble finding interested customers.
