It’s been nearly two days since Rolls-Royce
introduced their latest special edition, so the company is now following up
with the Pebble Beach 2019 Collection. Drawing inspiration from the
“hills, sand and sea surrounding Pebble Beach,” the collection consists of 13
bespoke models which will be offered exclusively to customers attending
Monterey Car Week.
First up is a trio of cars known as the Pastel
Collection. While they’ll probably remind you of Easter eggs, the company says
they’re actually inspired by the wildflower super bloom on the Monterey
Peninsula. The Ghost Black Badge sports a new paint finish called Light Green
Solid. While it looks white in certain conditions, Roll-Royce says it’s
actually a pastel green which “represents the rebirth of the flora on the
peninsula following the years of drought and fire.” The model also has a black
leather interior with a Serenity Green accent on the dashboard.
Next up is the Dawn Black Badge which features a Coral
Solid paint job that looks a bit like bubble gum. While the color won’t appeal
to everyone, the car required seven coats of paint and more than nine hours of
hand polishing. Inside, there’s two-tone Artic White and Sunset upholstery. Rounding out the group is the
Wraith Black Badge which sports a Semaphore Yellow exterior. There’s also a
Selby Grey and Lemon interior.
All three models have treadplates that read “Pebble
Beach 2019 – Special Commission.” Buyers will also find technical fiber trim
and a starlight headliner. Besides the aforementioned models, Rolls-Royce will showcase a
Phantom with a Black Diamond and Gold exterior. There will also be four
Cullinan crossovers in Burnout Grey, Black Green, Iced Gunmetal and Galilea
Blue. Rolls-Royce says their ‘iced’ paints have a “subtle finish [that] offers
the solid effect of matte colors with an elegant shine.”
