The 2020 Q3 Sportback is celebrating its public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and regardless of whether or not you’re a fan of the ongoing coupe-SUV craze, it’s hard to deny Audi‘s offering it is eye-catching. Pictured here in a rather ordinary shade of white as opposed to the flamboyant orange car unveiled online in late July, the Q3 Sportback looks aggressive from every angle.

There are a pair of razor-sharp headlights and a gloss black grille complete with black Audi badges. Add the black air intake surrounds and a lower chin spoiler also finished in a shade of black to contrast the white paint, and you’ve got yourself a nicely sorted package.

The bold theme continues at the side, where there are a number of angular body lines and black side skirts and wheel arches. At the rear are LED taillights, subtle spoilers stretching off the roof and tailgate, and more black badges.

This particular car is a Q3 45 TFSI quattro. That means it is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter petrol engine delivering 227 HP and 350 Nm of torque that’s mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and an all-wheel drive system. It accelerates to 100 km/h in a brisk 6.5 seconds and can hit a 233 km/h top speed.

European customers can also go for the 35 TDI S tronic, which has a 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel developing 148 HP and 340 Nm enabling it to hit 100 km/h in 9.3 seconds and top out at 205 km/h.
