The Nissan NV200 Compact Cargo soldiers on for another year in the United States with minor changes and a small price hike.

For the 2020 model year, the NV200 offers several connectivity upgrades including a new 7-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, NissanConnect featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as standard SiriusXM Radio. In addition, the S grade gains a body-colored front bumper for 2020 while all grades get six cargo area wall-mounted tie-down D-rings and three ceiling-mounted cargo lamps.

The 2020 NV200 is still available in two trim levels, the base S and the better-equipped SV. Prices start from US$ 22,830 for the NV200S and US$ 23,830 for the NV200 SV (excluding an US$ 895 destination and handling fee), an increase of US$ 530 over the 2019 model.

Unlike Europe, where Nissan also offers an the electric e-NV200 with a driving range of up to 275 km NEDC, the only engine choice in the U.S. remains a 131 HP, 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine mated to an Xtronic CVT driving the front wheels. EPA fuel economy ratings are 24 mpg (9.8 l/100 km) city, 26 mpg (9 l/100 km) highway, and 25 mpg (9.4 l/100 km) combined.

Also unchanged is the interior cargo space of 122 cubic feet (3,454 liters), which means the NV200 can fit a 40 x 48-inch (1,016 x 1,219-mm) pallet sideways using either the 40/60-split rear door or, alternatively, the sliding side doors.
