Nissan’s 2020 Pathfinder SUV is now on sale in the
U.S. with a starting price of US$ 31,680 for the base-spec Pathfinder S two-wheel
drive model, not including the US$ 1,045 destination and handling tax. Buyers can choose between 2WD and
4WD, as well as four well-equipped grade levels in the S, SV, SL and Platinum.
The 2020 model also continues to be available with the popular Rock Creek
Edition package.
All models are powered by the same 284 HP 3.5-liter V6 engine, working alongside the automaker’s Xtronic transmission.
According to Nissan, the Pathfinder’s standard maximum towing capacity is a
best-in-class 2,721 kg, as long as the vehicle is properly equipped
with the required hardware.
Features onboard the 2020 Pathfinder include
Nissan’s EZ Flex Seating System with LATCH and GLIDE technology, a 2nd row tilt
and glide seat for easy 3rd row access (even with a child seat installed),
Intelligent Around View Monitor (I-AVM), a Bose 13-speaker premium audio system,
Dual Panorama Moonroof, Motion-Activated liftgate with liftgate position memory
and NissanConnect with Navigation and Services.
As for the Rock Creek Edition, that’s a special
value option package with unique exterior and interior modifications, available
on 2020 Pathfinder SV and SL grades. There are black accents on the grille,
roof rails, side mirror casings, front and rear fascias, plus unique badging.
Meanwhile, the interior boasts high contrast stitching, more special badges and
additional metallic trim.
All Pathfinder Rock Creek Edition models also come
with a trailer tow hitch, harness and splash guards as standard.
