Alfa Romeo is adding the new Stelvio Ti to the UK
range, replacing the Milano Edizione model at the top of the SUV’s range, this
side of the fire-breathing Quadrifoglio version of course. Adding the ‘Turismo
Internazionale’ suffix to the Stelvio means that the Alfa Romeo SUV comes fully
kitted out with features like carbon fiber accents, a sports suspension and a
host of driver assistance systems.
The new Alfa Romeo Stelvio Ti can be distinguished
from its lesser siblings thanks to the carbon-fiber ‘V’ front grille and door
mirrors, the darker ‘Stelvio’ and ‘Q4’ badging, the red brake calipers and of
course the new 20-inch alloy wheels that are exclusive to this model.
The Stelvio Ti also features a leather dashboard,
laminated glass for additional soundproofing, a hands-free tailgate, Active
Cruise Control and FSD dampers that improve handling without affecting comfort.
Alfa Romeo offers an active suspension as an option.
Customers will be able to choose between two
powerplants: a petrol turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 276 HP and 400 Nm of torque and a diesel 2.2-liter with 207 HP and 470 Nm of torque. Both of them are combined with the brand’s Q4
all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Petrol models are capable of a 0-100 km/h in
5.7 seconds and of a top speed of 230 km/h, while the diesel is
slightly slower, featuring a 0-100 km/h in 6.6 seconds and a top speed of 215 km/h.
Pricing for the new Alfa Romeo Stelvio Ti in the UK
starts from £ 47,345 for the 2.2-liter diesel model and from £ 48,845 for the
2.0-liter petrol version. Both of them are available to order now.
