The iconic Italian motorcycle maker Ducati will be
unveiling its 2020 model line-up at the Ducati World Premiere 2020. The
biggest unveiling of the evening will be the Ducati Streetfighter V4 based on
the Ducati Panigale V4. This road-going motorcycle was seen in prototype form
at this year’s Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Unlike the prototype, the
production version may not get the wings. However, the Italians may introduce
some form of a winglet design in the S version of the Ducati Streetfighter V4.
Instead of the Golden coloured Ohlins, the
production version might get Showa Big Piston front fork. The rear suspension
in all probability will be a Sachs unit. Also, instead of the Stylema, the
Ducati Streetfighter V4 will be fitted with Brembo M50 callipers. The magic
though will be the same 1,103 cc V4 engine from the Panigale V4 S. In its
present tune, the engine can produce 214 PS of power and 124 Nm of torque.
The upcoming Ducati Streetfighter V4 will get the
usual plethora of riding aids, including riding mode selector, traction
control, wheelie control and slide control. Expect the price tag to hover above
INR 20 lakh (ex-showroom) mark.
