Seeing the high demand for special edition cars in the festive season in India, Tata Motors will relaunch the 'Kraz' edition of the Nexon soon. The company has teased the same in a short trailer ahead of its launch.

As seen before, the 'Kraz' edition will be nothing but a funkier version of the regular Nexon. The exact changes are not known at the moment, but the new Nexon Kraz is expected to flaunt a slew of exterior and interior updates as seen in its previous version. Speaking of which, it might pack some sporty elements such as contrasting highlights on the grille, ORVMs, alloy wheels and interiors. The previous version which was launched in September last year also received leatherette option with contrasting stitching and 'Kraz' moniker on the dashboard. Apart from the visual highlights, it also featured a 4-speaker Harman music system, Bluetooth telephony, automatic climate control system, reverse parking sensors, multi-utility glovebox, rear air vents and more.

The new Tata Nexon Kraz may be introduced in two or more versions, including Kraz and Kraz+ as seen previously. Mechanically, it will most likely remain unchanged and will feature a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine. The former produces 110 PS of maximum power and 170 Nm of peak torque, while the latter churns out 110 PS and 170 Nm of torque. Both the engines will be made available with 6-speed manual and 6-speed semi-automatic transmission options.

Tata Motors is also working on the facelifted Nexon, which will sport a new front look along with a slew of new features and cleaner engine options.
