The past decade has seen Rolls launch a host of
successful new models such as the latest-generation Phantom and the smaller
Ghost and Wraith. The British marque has also dared enter the realm of SUVs with the
Cullinan, and this rendering from Rain Prisk imagines what a Cullinan-based
pickup truck could look like.
The pickup appears to have similar portions to the
Rivian R1T, and to us, is a little more pleasing to the eye than the actual
SUV. There is a spacious bed, an attractive spoiler stretching off the roof,
suicide rear doors, and taillights lifted straight from the SUV. Adding to the
vehicle’s appeal is an off-road-focused wheel and tire combo as well as a
generous suspension lift kit.
Sure, a few extremely wealthy people who need a
large utilitarian vehicle to care for their expansive properties could probably
put a Rolls pickup to good use, but that’s about it. Launching an SUV is one
thing – and it did cause quite a stir among Rolls’ loyal customers. A pickup,
though? Probably when hell freezes over; or not even then.
