The SsangYong G4 Rexton (Mahindra Rexton G4) has
received a facelift in South Korea. The new mid-size SUV's prices start at KRW
34,390,000 and go up to KRW 41,410,000.
At the front, the SsangYong G4 Rexton has received a
chain mesh radiator grille that is visibly bigger than the current model's
grille which comprises horizontal slats. The headlamps now integrate LED DRLs
which adds freshness to the front design. On the lower part, it receives silver
skid plates at both the ends. Apart from the new LED DRLs at the front, even
the taillights now get an LED treatment. Details like the shape and positioning
of the fog lamps and the alloy wheel design is exactly the same.
As for the interior, there are new colour scheme
options, but the design is the same as that of the pre-facelift model. A new
roller blind has been applied to the second-row of windows to block sunlight
and protect privacy.
The 2020 SsangYong G4 Rexton measures 4,850 mm in
length, 1,960 mm in width and 1,825 mm in height. It has a wheelbase measuring
2,865 mm. Under the hood is the 2.2L e-XDi220 LET diesel engine which develops
a modest 187 PS of maximum power (up by 3% from previous output) and 421 Nm of peak torque. A 7-speed DCT is standard. A 4WD system is
optional.
The 2020 SsangYong G4 Rexton will go on sale in
