The 2020 iteration of the CFMoto 650NK and 400NK
have been revealed much before you were supposed to see them. The leaked photographs of the 2020 CFMoto 650NK reveal the styling
tweaks on the new model. While the basic silhouette remains identical to the
outgoing (Euro-IV) model, the 2020 versions get the revised tank and radiator
shrouds. The front fender on the updated model features a dual-tone finish and
a split-style design.
The 400NK seems to have received a few additional
tweaks in the form of a new headlight that appears to be similar to the unit on
the 250NK/300NK. The headlight mask, too, appears to be noticeably different.
The 650NK, on the other hand, will reportedly arrive with a new instrument
console. The 650 cc variant of the NK family could arrive with a colour TFT
display instead of the LCD panel on the current model. The 250NK/300NK comes
with a colour dash, and we could see a similar unit on the 2020 650NK. Rest of
the styling cues look nearly identical to the outgoing versions.
The 2020 650NK and the 400NK will carry the same
dimensions and weight as their respective Euro-IV versions. The performance
numbers, too, will be the same, and the parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine
powered 650NK and 400NK deliver 60 hp and 41 hp respectively.
Hardware specifications, too, are similar to the
current models'. Thus, the shock absorption tasks on both, the 650NK and the
400NK are performed by conventional telescopic forks at the front and a
mono-shock at the back. Anchoring power comes from dual discs at the front and
a single rotor at the back – both featuring a petal-type design.
The new motorcycles will most likely arrive at the
2019 EICMA motorcycle show in (5-10) November along with the rest of the 2020
line-up. We would also see the India-bound 300SR – the fully-faired version of
the 300NK – at the motoring event in Milan, Italy.
