Lexus is expanding its Blackline Special Edition
offering on the IS F Sport for 2020, for a total of 900 units. The 2020 IS F Sport Blackline
will be available in RWD and AWD IS 350 F Sport spec, in addition to the IS 300
F Sport.
Prices start from US$ 45,200 for the IS 300 rear-wheel
drive version and go all the way to US$ 50,985 for the IS 350 AWD model. The IS
300 F Sport Blackline AWD and IS 350 F Sport Blackline RWD cost US$ 47,650 and US$ 48,820 respectively.
Styling-wise, these Blackline special edition models
feature F Sport 18-inch split-spoke wheels with a black vapor chrome finish,
black chrome grille surround and black mirror casings. Three exterior colors
are available in Obsidian, Ultra White and Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0. Each model comes with triple-beam
LED headlights, sat-nav and a Blind Spot Monitor. For 2020, the SmartAccess
card key is standard.
Meanwhile, the interior houses exclusive black and
grey seats with Indigo Blue stitching – which is also found on the knee pads,
dash and door trim. There are further blue accents to be found on the heated
wood steering wheel, door switch panels and glove box.
As for performance, rear-wheel drive versions of the
IS 300 Blackline are powered by a 241 HP 2.0-liter turbocharged four-pot,
working alongside an eight-speed automatic transmission. The all-wheel drive
version of this same model packs a 3.5-liter V6 with 260 HP and a six-speed
automatic with paddle shifters.
Opt instead for any version of the IS 350 F Sport
Blackline (be it RWD or AWD), and you get a 311 HP 3.5-liter V6. The RWD
version comes with an eight-speed Sport Direct-Shift automatic gearbox, while
the AWD model gets a six-speed auto, both with paddle shifters. The 2020 Lexus IS F Sport Blackline Special Edition
models will arrive in dealerships in November of this year.
