This is the second-ever Black Line Special Edition
of the Lexus NX, and unlike that first model, this one comes with exclusive
bronze-finished wheels, bronze interior accents, Android Auto integration as standard
and more. Pricing starts from US$ 44,710 if you go for the front-wheel drive
model, while the all-wheel drive version costs US$ 46,110. The 2020 NX 300 Black
Line Special Edition will be available in dealerships in November.
In terms of specs, this new NX Black Line builds on
the Premium Package by adding the previously-mentioned bronze wheels accented
by color keyed-over fenders – a first for the NX range. Customers can choose
between three exterior colors (Eminent White Pearl, Nebula Gray Pearl and Matador
Red Mica) while there are also a signature black grille with black surround and
black fog lamp housings, plus black exterior mirror covers.
Inside, there is bronze stitching on the seats,
center console, door trim, floor mats and key gloves, a black headliner, heated
and ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, Lexus Memory System, Park
Assist, Power Rear Door with Kick Sensor and sat-nav.
The standard 10.3-inch infotainment display is now
available with Android Auto connectivity, which in turn allows users to enjoy
music from apps such as Spotify and Pandora, send messages through apps such as
WhatsApp, and even use Google Assistant.
The 2020 Lexus NX 300 Black Line will be built in a
limited run of 2,000 units, but if you don’t land one, you can still get a
regular NX, which in the United States is priced from US$ 36,720.
